About the Item
A very fine serpentine mahogany chest of drawers circa 1760 in the manner of Thomas Chippendale having a molded top over four drawers with a brush slide, resting on molded bracket feet. The overall quality of this chest is superb having muntin dividers in the long drawers with rounded bracket feet, typical of the Chippendale workshop’s ability to finish off a piece with both aesthetic and practical skill.
