This magnificent commode is shipped as professionally photographed and described in the listing narrative: Meticulously professionally restored and completely installation ready. There is a pair of these rare chests available. An elegant and rare three-drawer Art Deco commode (series number 1110) by Widdicomb, circa 1938. Stout mahogany construction with exquisite case and foot detail. Fabulous solid brass hardware accent the drawers. Undoubtedly one of the most elusive and beautiful designs in the Widdicomb archive. A serious piece designed to anchor an important space. Excellent Restored Condition. The chest has been meticulously restored in cream lacquer; the hardware has been hand polished and displays beautiful patina. Retains the Maker mark. There are two (2) of these chests available.
