Large Gray Rococo Chest of Four Drawers, Sweden circa 1760-80

About the Item

This large antique rococo chest of four drawers features a serpentine front, brass hardware pulls and rests on cabriolet feet. It has been given an exceptional new professional gray layered painted finish with white undertones. It has been lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of the dresser. Please enlarge the close up photos of the layered colors of paint and wood to best understand the color/finish. Two large brass pulls are on each drawer. A key is included for aesthetics but locks no longer function as it is easier to use the pulls to open each drawer. This large pine chest has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers function. Any cracks, dings, aged separation (along trim, drawer bottoms, etc.), holes/knots in the back are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this handsome chest of drawers. Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting may all impact how item is viewed.
