About the Item

This large antique rococo chest of four drawers features panels on each drawer, carved skirt, brass hardware pulls and rests on cabriolet feet. It has been given an exceptional new professional seafoam/ pale blue/light gray layered painted finish which is lightly distressed to fit the age and grace of the dresser. Please enlarge the close up photos of the layered colors of paint and wood to best understand the color/finish, including the top that has a striated finish and distressing to show the oak below. Two large brass pulls are on each drawer. One key included as decor. Age-related separation seen in bottom of drawers. This large oak chest has been restored, case is sturdy and drawers function. All cracks, dings, aged separation (typical in drawer bottoms, etc.), cracks in the back are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this handsome chest of drawers.
