Coppia di Cassettoni Neoclassici, Piacenza Inizio XIX Secolo

About the Item

Coppia di cassettoni neoclassici piacentini, sorretti da gambe tronco-piramidali con piedino e collare torniti, sul fronte presentano tre cassetti più uno posto nella fascia sottopiano. Impiallacciati in noce, presentano bordure in ulivo, castagno e maggiociondolo; al centro del fronte, entro riserva ottagonale inquadrata tra volute fogliacee e volatili, presentano intarsio in acero raffigurante "Venere e amore"; anche i fianchi presentano riserve con intarsiate figure di suonatori. Motivi fitomorfi ornano la fascia sottopiano, mentre sul piano è intarsiata una rosa dei venti. Interni in pioppo, le serrature e le maniglie in bronzo dorato sono state sostituite.
