This majestic commode has undergone a meticulous complete restoration. The chest may be re-lacquered in another Ben Moore color in advance of shipment, if another color is desired. There are a pair of these rare chests available. Hardware may be plated in Silver, Brass or Nickel. An exquisite three-drawer Art Deco commode by Widdicomb, circa 1948. Pair available. Six drawer chest available in a separate listing. These rare examples are unique on the market. Stout mahogany construction with elegant lines and base detail. Fabulous cast Tulip style hardware mark the drawers. Undoubtedly one of the most beautiful designs in the entire Widdicomb archive. Excellent restored condition. Professionally cleaned and meticulously restored in Cream lacquer. Hardware will be plated in the client choice of brass, nickel or silver leaf in advance of shipment. There are two (2) of these chests available. The price listed is for one (1) chest. May be re-lacquered in Black or any Ben Moore color if so desired. For change of lacquer color please add $900 per case. Retains the Maker mark.
