- Condition:Refinished. Repaired: There is a restoration to the lower left rear side panel. This restoration does not affect the structure or stability of the tansu. Drawer fronts are in their original surface; the top, sides and drawer separations have been painted black. Minor losses. There are imperfections to the top surface and sides which have been ebonized. The chest is highly decorative and is fit for another 100+ years of use.
