This mid-century commode was created "from the work rooms and show rooms of Greenbaun Interiors" and is a very well made piece. It features a rectangular-shaped top with ebony inlay in the center and accenting the perimeter edges, atop a case which houses a pair of stacked drawers set between fluted side posts. The ebony trim continues on to the drawer fronts, outlining the panels, on diamond accents found along the skirt on either side, and wrapping the feet. This chest is presented on four squared legs, which taper gently towards their feet. - Vintage Pair Chest of Drawers in Pale BlueLocated in Atlanta, GAA pair of painted wood chests from American furniture maker Kittinger Furniture. These vintage made-in-America chests each feature a rectangular-shaped top over a has which houses four graduated and dove-tailed drawers, set within canted and flute-carved front side posts. A petite beaded trim outlines the bottom perimeter of the chests, which are raised upon four bracket style feet, which give the otherwise linear skirt a bit of shape and interest. The upper drawers each have dividers for storage organization. Each drawer is fitted with its original heavy brass hardware pulls. The chests have a new custom pale blue finish, which still allows much of the wood grain to show through from beneath.
