A splendid Louis XVI style brass mahogany cylinder desk with brass mounted marble top gallery over three fitted drawers surmounting a cylinder case with compartmentalized interior, including three fitted drawers with open cubbies above them, and a pull out felted writing surface, over a long frieze drawer, all supported by four reeded tapered round legs with brass feet. The entire piece is adorned with brass accents, including drawer front borders, pulls, capitals, and edges. The desk is in very good condition, with a few minor surface imperfections and light wear commensurate with age and use. Dimensions: 45.75 in H x 46.25 in W x 20.25 in D. Ref: 8
