Paul Frankl Freeform "Station Wagon" Desk for Johnson Furniture, 1950

About the Item

A delightful and uncommon desk designed by Paul Frankl and manufactured by Johnson Furniture as part of the "Station Wagon" line in 1950. This freeform beauty features a mahogany veneered top, two flattened ovular legs, and a third cylindrical leg, all of solid maple. Two small hidden drawers grace the front. This piece has been lovingly restored and is in wonderful, ready to use vintage condition. The patina is soft and smooth and lovely. This incredibly versatile desk will work with any aesthetic, instantly bringing a feel of organic charm to the space.
