Antique Massachusetts Mahogony Federal 2 over 4 Chest of Drawers

A fine antique American mahogany chest of drawers.
Likely Massachusetts.
With 2 over 4 drawer construction, turned feet & posts with carved pineapples & bullseye terminals, carved backsplash, and replaced Federal style brass pulls.
With a mahogany veneer with a pine secondary.
Simply a wonderful New England chest of drawers!

Overall Condition:
It is in overall good, functional, as-pictured condition
Condition Cetails:
There is an unevenness to the finish throughout, checking (agre cracks) to the veneer in some spots as well as the left front turned post, spots of white house paint here and there (notably to the reverse of the back legs. There are patches and replacements to theveneer throughout and an unevenness to the overall finish. Otherwise, there are some fine & light surface scratches and other signs of expected light wear consistent with age.
Marks:
One drawer with a "TITCOMB" inscription.
