Modern Industry Long 6-Drawer Dresser in Oxidized Walnut
About the Item
Made from sequentially cut pieces of wide solid walnut this long, low, 6-drawer dresser was an exercise in matching grain. Drawer fronts are a bookmatched mirror image of the top, with the grain flowing seamlessly over bookmatched miter folded sides. Finished in an lightly oxidized finish. Solid walnut drawers slide effortlessly on soft close glides, with dark leather pulls. The cabinet rests on a steel base finished in a rose patina.
As this cabinet is made to order, variation in grain patterns and color are expected.

Founded in 2010, Modern Industry is a modern furniture design and fabrication studio located on Chicago's West side. Devoted to the elegant marriage of hand craftsmanship with technological innovation, we create luxury contemporary furnishings made to be passed down for generations- the antique furniture of the future.
Customers can choose from a variety of domestic hardwoods, including Walnut, Oak, Elm and Maple, finished in a selection of standard finishes, or custom finish matching for an additional fee.
Steel can be finished in a variety of standard patinas, powder coated to any RAL color, or paint matched to any shade for an additional fee.
