George III Mahogany Linen Press
About the Item
Sn5522 Fine quality Georgian linen press, having cavetto cornice with satinwood and ebonised inlay above a shallow frieze and a pair of panelled, flamed mahogany cupboard doors fitted with original working lock and a key, and brass centre bead, enclosing newly relined, fresh and clean interior. The projecting base having two short and two long cockbeaded drawers, all fitted with brass knobs, standing on shaped bracket feet. This antique linen press / wardrobe has been sympathetically restored and is in home ready condition. c1800
