American Hepplewhite mahogany satinwood string inlaid secretary bookcase with a hinged fall front leather writing surface, central arched tulip wood inlaid cornice with original brass urn eagle finials, upper case with flanking hinged glass arched doors, blue painted adjustable interior shelves, original oval period pineapple basket brasses, three central drawers with original brass knobs, tulip wood inlaid cross bandings, original locks with key, three lower case graduated drawers with brass escutcheons, and resting on the original squared tapered satinwood string inlaid legs. Late 18th century. Secondary wood consist of white pine, Virginia
