Classicist/Empire clapperboard secretary, circa 1790 Solid wood veneered with walnut. High-quality top on short tapered square legs, straight two-tier body, sloping writing flap above and staggered office division from drawers. Framed with thread inlays. Classic fittings with hand rims. Expertly restored about 20 years ago. (L-145).
