About the Item
A stunning 1950s Italian secretary desk constructed with birch and walnut. This piece features a sculptural profile with a channeled trim detail and angled, tapered legs. A uniquely shaped drop front writing surface opens with a key to reveal one removable center shelf. Underneath the channeled trim, there is an additional lower cabinet. The top of this piece has a unique shelf detail perfect for styling books and trinkets. Unmarked. Sourced in Italy, 1950s.
