About the Item
Weathered 19th century country French provincial sideboard, server, buffet, or dresser crafted from pine. The rustic cabinet has a thick top with breadboard ends and a small gallery in the back. The case is fronted by 4 storage drawers above 4 doors that open to a shelved interior. The drawers operate smoothly with round wood pulls and the doors are paneled. The pine has a natural finish with a distressed patina full of character and charm commensurate its age and use. The pine is soft with a light honey toned finish in the farmhouse aesthetic. The buffet is made on a grand scale measuring over 7 feet long. It is very heavy and sturdy with excellent joinery and craftsmanship. Beautifully aged with desirable wear on the finish.
