Art deco Scandinavian birch and elm cabinet
About the Item
Art deco Scandinavian birch and elm cabinet circa 1930.
We are pleased to offer this cabinet which is of the highest quality from the art deco period.
Stained birch outer frame with contrasting matched elm doors, arranged to depict a sun or how ever the viewer sees it. Top section opens to reveal a further contrasting interior of mahogany and an adjustable shelf either side of a central partition. Below the top are 2 pull out then swing out drawers, veneered in walnut and lined with a green baize. Bottom section double door cupboard offers a further single shelf either side of a partition.
Working locks and key. Standing on sledge feet.
Minor surface marks, recently re-finished in our workshop and ready for the home.
