About the Item

A particularly fine antique Hunt Board likely 18th Century. The Board with Queen Anne and Welsh influence in medium wood stain. The Board features a long rectangular top with an ogee edge overhanging a case of three banded drawers all having double brass bail handles on batwing plaques flanking ornate openwork central key escutcheons. The apron with semi-circle brackets along the underside. Raised over cabriole front legs with pad feet. Dimensions: 79” wide by 22.25” deep by 31” high. Condition: Please see detail photos. Various signs of age and use include the top with age bowing, checks, veneer losses, burns, old work marks, scratches, tarnished brass all mentioned for accuracy and ameliorated by a fine age patina with the Board retaining an exceptional presentation.
