Exceptional George II Oak Hunt Board

About the Item

A fine 18th Century Oak Hunt Board in Classic Welsh style and form. The Hunt Board a two-plank top with back gallery, carved apron, three banded drawers with dove-tail joinery, strongly carved Cabriolet front legs and later brass Bat Wing pulls and escutcheons of which two are false)mThe piece has a timeworn and very soft hand and sits quite solidly. The center drawer with the original lock and working key. then Hunt Board measures 73.25" wide by 17.75" deep by 29.5" high. Condition: Please see detail photos. The overall condition is timeworn with expected signs of age and use including areas of finish loss, some old scratches and rings to the top surface as well as a few stable age cracks all which do not detract from the authentic and very fine presentation.
