Mahogany Semi Antique Hunt Board in Georgian Style
About the Item
A long and tall Hunt Board notable for its elegant simplicity and deft use of its Minimal lines. . A narrow top with carved edge and with fine string inlaid details. The apron with three drawers with patinated brass wreath ring pulls, and matching string inlays between the drawers. Raised on square tapering legs with spade feet.
L. 76 1/2", Depth 15", H. 34 1/2'
Condition: Please see detail photos. There are various signs of age and use including scratches and losses to top finish, stable age crack across left side of the top, stable age crack on the right side, sun-struck right drawer and slight scrapes to some legs which do not detract from the fine presentation. While the Hunt Board would benefit from an over polishing, it is not in our opinion strictly necessary.
