About the Item

This stunning rosewood sideboard was designed by Kai Kristiansen sometime in the 1960's. The sideboard's design strikes an imposing image with clean lines and a sleek profile. Standing on runner legs, with brushed aluminum accents displayed on both the legs and the drawer pulls, it is an intersection between mid-century and modern design. Inside the sideboard, there is ample space and storage available. The drawers and shelves can be easily adjusted to different heights, allowing for a range of customization options for each home's unique needs. The drawers and shelves are constructed from solid oak, adding a pleasing lighter tone to contrast the rosewood on the exterior. This piece is apparently without marks or signature. This sideboard is a vintage piece with minor signs of wear, consistent with age and use. The piece presents beautifully overall.
