Oak Reverse Breakfront French Country Server, circa 1900

About the Item

Featuring reverse breakfront construction with a set back center, this stunning server showcases foliated carvings with dainty flowers, C scrolls, and ribbon. The center door, which opens to two shelves, is flanked by four drawers on each side. The drawers do not have pulls but a number of keys, which serve as pulls to open the drawers. The server is raised on tiered plinth feet at the front. The center feet follow the convex curve of the center section. The outer feet follow the soft curved edge of the server's front corners.
