1940s Sideboards

Exceptional piece of furniture in oak and oak veneer very lightly sanded. Sideboard for a gallery, unique piece by De Coene, 1940s. The rectangular body rests on double corner legs and has a contoured top in a slight overflow the two doors on the left and right are made of slatted panels with very nicely finished hanging of the doors in bronze hardware the middle door is covered in leather finished with brass knobs that accentuate the 1940s. An elegant and high quality of craftsmanship 1940s three-door bow front sideboard by De Coene Frères, Belgium. The bow-front sideboard executed with three doors centering bronze medallion flanked by plain pilasters ending in splayed supports with gilt bronze sabots. This sideboard is well-constructed and detailed in a discrete manner. The piece shows well-designed lines and interesting details, such as the folding doors.The sideboard is modest and simplistic in its design. Dimensions: Height: 38.5 in. (100 cm) Width: 79 in.
