About the Item

The warm tones and active grain of natural pine wood are the focus of this unusually articulated Dongbei sideboard. Made for a provincial home in northeastern China, this table was once used to honor loved ones past and present with photos or other prized possessions. Crafted in the late 19th century, the table is devoid of any excess decoration. Punctuated by a double door secured by stepped bolt closures, the table extends horizontally to reveal more storage. With its overhanging table top, extended apron, and low-lying stretcher bars, this sideboard charms with unconventional beauty. We love its emphasis on natural wood and the depth of character earned through decades of use. Additional Dimensions: Sliding Doors: 20.5"W 15"D x 9.5"H Double Doors: 13"W x 15"D x 9.5"H
