Coat Rack In Solid Oak Late 19th Louis Philippe Style
About the Item
Everyday life is much more pleasant when you return home and you find tidy spaces especially in your entrance. This should be welcoming. This is the first view your guests have. But where do you store your hats, caps, coats, bags, sashes, scarves, umbrellas… In short, how to organize your living room, your entrance, your hallway or entrance hall cluttered with belongings that are piling up: simply thanks to this coat rack still called cloakroom.
This high, narrow piece of furniture forms a set composed of two parts : an overhead closet with coat hooks to hang various clothes and a lower section reserved for storage on the one hand of the papers, keys, pairs of glasses via the drawer and secondly the umbrellas on each side of the coat rack via removable of zinc tub and two rounded brass.
This coat rack is solid oak, late 19th, Louis Philippe style.
The coat hooks are eight : four removable single coat hooks, two simple fixed coat hooks and a pair of double coat hooks on each side of the mirror. The coat hooks are made of brass and in good condition.
The mirror consists of double bevel on its perimeter. This technique lightens the material at the edges at a precise angle which brings elegance. The mirror is in good condition despite its age.
The coat rack is perfectly stable. It rests on low legs that respect the shape of the furniture at the front and two straight feet at the back.
The back of the coat rack has solid wood panels so very resistant.
The drawer is dovetailed to ensure perfect strength. It can be opened daily and hold many objects. It slides perfectly.
Above the drawer, you can place on the marble an element of decoration. The marble is in perfect condition.
This piece of furniture is the result of a beautiful woodworking work, made by a passionate. The latter has brought elegance thanks to the carved wood, luxury thanks to the various brass elements, elegance thanks to the bevelled mirror.
