About the Item

The small Dutch Baroque draw-leaf or center table with a two-board framed top having conforming extension leaves on each end, above a plain frieze, supported by massive plaint turned elongated "melon" legs, joined by plain H-stretcher and ending in flat bun-feet. A rare table for its unusually small size and H-stretcher, it is sturdy and has a bold appearance with a lot of character and a wonderful deep color. Extended length 73.5" / 186.5 cm. Old, in-active insect damage, age-splits and separations.
