Portuguese Rococo Writing Table or Side Table, 18th Century

About the Item

Beautiful 18th century Portuguese Rococo two-drawer writing or side table with a finely carved shaped skirt and cabriole legs. The unusual form of the top makes this table a true eye-catcher. Originally ebonized, the table now displays an old waxed and richly patinated surface. The brasses are appropriate Portuguese pulls and appear to be original. The table is sculptural with a wonderful deep patina making this a truly unique table.
