19th Century Painted Cobbler's or Coffee Table, Maple Wood Re-imagined

About the Item

This table is unique and meets the definition of form and function. There is utility and beauty in this 19th Century American Cobbler's table that has been reimagined as a coffee table or a fancy piece in a utility room for holding cleaning shoes and other footwear. ready for maintenance. The best use we believe, is as a coffee table on a screened porch or in a living area depending on your color scheme. The leather area is a perfect place to rest a tray or a cheeseboard or other items for sips and nibbles at gatherings. The table is sturdy and made of maple. It is quite generous at 43 inches long. The squared section for the cobbler's tools could also accommodate different eye-catching hors d'oeuvres! We think this is a winner either for hoof or mouth! LOL.
