About the Item

This stunning coffee table features a solid teak wood top with a thickness of 1.2 inches. Below the top, there's a sleek framework that includes two drawers, each adorned with hand-forged steel ring pulls. The table stands on four slightly tapered legs, adding a touch of elegance to its design. The entire piece has been stained a warm brown and finished with several layers of shellac and wax, giving it a soft, polished sheen. Originally an antique work table from Indonesia, this piece was converted into a coffee table a few decades ago. The tabletop proudly showcases the wear and tear of years of use, adding character and history to its appearance. In our workshop, the table was carefully cleaned and treated with a fresh layer of protective wax to preserve its beauty. Solid, clean, and ready for use, this coffee table blends timeless craftsmanship with practical functionality, making it a unique addition to any living space.
