About the Item

Such incredible detail in this rectangular coffee table designed by French designer, Jean Claude Mahey. Designed and crafted in the early 1980s in France, and signed by Jean Claude Mahey (J.C. Mahey) on the base, and is a prime collectors item. The seamless, smooth finish on the exotic wood table top features decorative marquetry inlay and the edge wrapped in lacquered goatskin. This gorgeous lacquered parchment and exotic light wood table sits on matching base signed by Jean Claude Mahey on the base. If beauty is in the details, then this table can win first place in a beauty pageant. This cocktail table by Jean Claude Mahey would work great in a Post-Modern, Mid-Century Modern, Space Age Mod, Scandanavian Modern or Danish Modern home or penthouse apartment but could also look fantastic in a Contemporary or Zen / Minimalism room. Also consider mixing it up in a Traditional, Transitional, Hollywood Regency, Classical or Art Deco room with a splash of juxtaposition. Would also be an apt choice in a commercial project such as a hotel lobby lounge or members club, creative design studio or high-rise executive office. MEASUREMENTS: H 13.5" x W 68.5" x D 43.25" CONDITION: Excellent showroom condition. Very light wear at bottom of the base. Ready for immediate use.
