About the Item

French baroque coffee table by Maurice HIRCH for Maison JANSEN, Paris, France, 1940s. Coffee table in black and gold lacquered wood with mirrored top. Baroque decoration and shape decorated with acanthus leaves and braids. Height : 16.14"(41cm), Width : 35.43"(90cm), Depth : 17.72"(45cm). This neoclassical style piece of furniture comes from the collaboration between the famous Parisian house Jansen and the decorator and manufacturer Maurice Hirch. Stamped "Hirch" under the belt. Good condition with some traces of age (see photos).
