About the Item
One of a kind. No reproduction. The Tavolo in Metamorfosi is a coffee table which consists of a top of triangles with a specially processed glass plate on top. If you look over the table on the short sides, you will see a 3D cube pattern and another pattern from the other side. The other pattern is triangles. The design is inspired by Escher's patterns. This piece is designed and made in The Netherlands.
The table consists largely of veneer Walnut. It is all made of wood. All patterns are hand-pasted and cut into pieces. The patterns are made of diffrent kinds of wood. The drawers consist of solid Walnut with a dovetail connection. There are 2 drawers in this piece of furniture, on the end sides you can find the drawers with push-to-open mechanism.
The following types of wood are used in this furniture: Padoek, American Walnut, Oak and Ebbe.
