18th Century Three Drawer Walnut Console Table, Portugal
About the Item
Dark walnut console table with three drawers resting on harp shaped legs and decorative turned stretcher.
Elaborate hand carved details embellish the three drawers. The two outer drawers each have a pull. The central smaller drawer can only be opened using fingers (no pull) and only when the other two drawers are opened as well.
Note the solid piece of wood that forms the handsome top, with age related stains, old dried wormholes, cracks, scratches, etc. reflecting many generations of use that all add to the rich aged appeal of this handsome table.
Please enlarge photos (especially of top) to appreciate the dark patina of the wood, including old cracks, gouges, stains and nicks.
Restored, this 5.5' walnut table is strong, stable and ready to use and enjoy.
Floor to skirt height: 20"
All scratches, cracks, dings, and age related separation are reflective of age and do not detract from the beauty nor function of this impressive console.
Please refer to professional photos for clear understanding of color, condition, and details; photo lighting, individual monitor display and home lighting all impact how item is viewed. Photos are part of item description, please ask questions or request additional photos of specific areas if needed.
