Fine Water Gilded George II Carved Walnut and Faux Marble Eagle Console Table
About the Item
This is a fantastic water-gilded (the most beautiful form of gilding and very metallic and bright) console table in the style of William Kent of England. The table uses a very natuaralistic carved full bodied eagle in bright gold surmounted with a faux verdi and ochre paint decorated marble top. The top looks like real marble as it was masterfully painted. The table dates to the 1940s era and is from England and will make a brilliant focal point to your home. Dimensions: 31.25 inches high x 40 inches wide x 20 inches deep
