About the Item
This beautiful giltwood table has a lovely patina. The neo-classic detail was hand carved and gilded by a highly skilled craftsman probably in Florence. The fitted removable marble top has a subtle dark grain on white which makes a lovely contrast to the aged gold of the wood. This is an excellent statement piece for a foyer, living room, or as a server in a dining room.

Slight warp to back legs. Age & design (heavy weight atop slender wooden legs) mean this console should sit with its back firmly against a wall.
