Pair of Art Deco Column Styled Console Tables or Stands with Mirrored Tops

About the Item

This pair of console tables or stands are unsigned, but presumed to have originated from the United States and date to approximately 1920 and done in the period Art Deco style. The consoles are composed of plywood and pine, with maple columns across the front with mirrored tops. The columns are accented with contoured black borders and kick plates and the top rails are accented with five point stars. The consoles are composed of a base, with a fitted top that the cut mirror fits onto, so the top surface can be changed. These consoles came originally from the entrance of a theatre in downtown Toronto Ontario Canada, but can be adapted for various design applications.
