18th Century Veneered and Inlaid Wood Italian Louis XV Writing Desk

About the Item

The elegant antique north Italian (Genoa) Louis XV period writing desk, called also bureau plat, is made of veneered and inlaid woods. It have a beautiful wavy line with slender but solid legs. The desk have an elegant green insert leather with a gold decoration. Plenty of space for your writing needs and a comfortable large drawers, with original knob ormolu, on the front. The legs end with original heads in gilded bronze finely chiselled. The back is well finished and this desk can also be used as a center table. In good condition it’s ready to be inserted into your home.
