Louis Majorelle Marquetry and hand carved salon table with morning glories. Four hand carved legs heavily carved on top. Desk form with a large single drawer. Signed “L. Majorelle” in marquetry. France, c. 1900 Mahogany and fruitwood with mixed exotic wood inlay. Dimensions: 30.5 Inches High x 35 Inches wide x 25.5 inches deep (77 x 89 x 65 cm) Literature Louis Majorelle, MASTER OF ART NOUVEAU DESIGN: Alastair Duncan. P. 201, pl 119 and P. 204, pl 131. Table features one drawer. Marquetry signature to top 'L. Majorelle'. Condition: Very good original condition with wear commensurate of age and use.
