16th century and later Elizabethan solid oak refectory table

About the Item

16th century and later Elizabethan solid oak refectory table circa 1590. We are pleased to offer this beautiful table, with Elizabethan period base and later 3 plank oak top.  Carved frieze which goes round the front and sides and plain oak the the rear.  Raised on 6 bulbous legs which are united by a floor level stretcher.  Size makes this ideal for dining or a statement center table. Oak top with natural with minor natural age splits and surface marks underneath a deep rich colour and polished finish. Obvious minor losses to woodwork and surface marks to base, but strong and sturdy and ready for everyday use. 1 and half inch thick top.
