1960 "Royal" table by Maison Jansen

About the Item

This striking extension table from the renowned Maison Jansen, designed in the 1960s, embodies the elegance and innovation of mid-century modern design. The table features an original sleek black Formica top with a sturdy steel base. A exact example with a Formica top can be seen in the Delbeé apartment by Jansen. It sold at an 1999 Christie’s auction for over 25,000.00. The brass accents add a touch of opulence and highlight the table's refined craftsmanship. Scuffing and minor nicks. Good overall condition.
