Andrew J. Milne for Heal's Round Drop Leaf Table

About the Item

Vintage 1960s round double drop-leaf table top in style of Fornasetti, mounted on single slim tapered black enameled metal pedestal stem on four star splayed base, with brass sabots and round disk 'lunar landing pad' self-leveling feet designed by A. J. Milne for Heal & Sons UK. The original round wood top has recently been applied with an enlarged lithograph of a 19th century architectural engraving of the underside of a neoclassical dome. Fornasetti style. Edge banded in black laminate. 42 inches diameter by 30 inches high. When leaves are dropped the top is 22 inches by 42 inches. Very smart and stylish for use as a center, game table or dinette.
