Early 17th Century Spanish Walnut Folding Center Table

About the Item

This particular type of table was invented by 16th century Spanish cabinetmakers. This elegant table can easily be taken apart. Its rectangular top is assembled to the legs with iron hooks. It stands on scrolled lyre shaped supports joined by wrought-iron stretchers.
