About the Item

"Gazelle" is a dining table, designed by Park Associati and manufactured by Driade, with a painted tubular steel structure, available in four different colors: black, white, red and blue. MDF top th. 1.57”. Available in cement anthracite gray finish on the upper side and in black laminated finish on the lower side or in Betacryl white finish on the upper side and in white laminated on the lower side. Indoor use only. DIMENSIONS: D. 35.4", W. 106.3", H. 28.7" A table which plays on a seeming imbalance, supporting a strongly materic top, by a sequence of three structures placed in a totally unpredictable way. Built as parallelepipeds and fixed either perpendicularly or in parallel to the surface, the three base frames are configured rather like a “vacuum” that seems to let the top float into the air. PARK ASSOCIATI's architecture and design culture is marked by listening, experimentation, complexity and narration. The work of the studio, founded in 2000 in Milan by Filippo Pagliani and Michele Rossi, features a constantly changing yet highly distinctive stylistic approach, which reflects the open, transversal and scientific attitude of the two partners and their collaborators. A continuous search for new ways of combining materials and their forms with different technologies and functionalities, allows PARK ASSOCIATI to offer original solutions to the ever-changing requirements of clients, and to dialogue with different environments, while covering a broad scale of intervention, from product design to urban planning. Among others, this consolidated approach has generated design creations for Driade, the Brioni fashion company’s international stores, the two travelling restaurants The Cube by Electrolux and Priceless Milano, the Nestlé Headquarters in Assago, the new Pharo Business Center in Milan, and the Salewa Headquarters in Bolzano. In recent years the studio has focused on urban regeneration and restyling of 20th-century building heritage, as the refurbishment operations in the Milan area of “La Serenissima” or “Gioiaotto”, up to the recent interventions in Piazza Cordusio and in Via Chiese. PARK ASSOCIATI is always keen to explore new realms of action in order to face the challenges and the complexity of contemporary architecture.
