About the Item
Handsome wrought iron Hollywood Regency style dining table with a wonderful octagon shaped wood rimmed glass top. It is in fabulous condition. The iron base has its original gold painted finish, which with age and use has gained a marvelous patina as has the gilded wood rim around the glass. We believe it to be circa 1970s by Swirl Craft of Sun Valley California.
This gorgeous octagon table will make a bold and beautiful statement wherever you decide to use it. It would make a wonderful center table in an entry or living room and look incredible in a dining room. Or put it in a sunroom and see the effect it makes there. It is comprised of a gorgeous gold painted wrought iron base with scrolls and swirls and spirals which is topped by glass trimmed with a gilded wood molding. Just stunning! We do believe it was made by Swirl Craft which was in Sun Valley, California and incorporated in 1973 but is now closed. That is the extent of the information we have gleaned from our internet searches. We believe this to be by them as we have the matching chairs, which are marked, listed as well. No matter its maker or pedigree, it is an intriguing and beautiful table. You should have it.

Wonderful Greek Revival large dining table with a gray & black marbleized technique laminate covered triple octagon pedestal base & an elongated octagon glass top with beveled edges Attributed to Bernhardt. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. The base molding around columns has been repainted and looks beautiful. Oh. My. Goodness!!!! Look at this absolutely gorgeous Greek Revival style dining table attributed to Bernhardt!!! The base is comprised of three octagon shaped columns with a gray & black marbleized technique covered with laminate and a black painted inverted crown molding around the base of each column. The glass top is an elongated octagon shape or a rectangle with angled corners and beautiful, beveled edges. The base on the columns appears to mirror the bevel on the glass top… it’s really striking!! This table is large enough to be used as an office conference table...
