Rosewood Squircle to Oval Shaped Expanding Dining Table, Mid-Century Modern

Wonderful vintage Chinese Chinoiserie dining table comprised of Rosewood & Mother of Pearl (m-o-p) round top with 2 leaves, converting it to a small oval with one leaf and large oval with 2 leaves. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear. This Asian style table is in excellent vintage condition with the exception of a small missing piece of m-o-p on the top which we have repaired by filling with wood filler and painting with a pearlized paint. You can still see the spot when looking for it but doesn’t show overall. There was also a nick on the inside edge of one of the leaves that has been filled. The whole top and leaves have been scuffed and given a coat of poly for durability. Please see photos and zoom in for details. We attempt to portray any imperfections. Circa, Mid-Late 20th Century. Stunning vintage modern all glass dining table V double pedestal base with incised draped design and four polished brass plated aluminum connectors in the style of Pace. Magnificent vintage Scandinavian Modern Gudme Mobelfabrik of Denmark teak expanding dining or conference table with 2 leaves. This piece has been attributed based upon archived research including online sources, vintage documentation and catalogs, designer literature, and other materials however, it is not signed or marked in any way. Beautiful condition, keeping in mind that this is vintage and not new so will have signs of use and wear even if it has been refinished or restored. Specifically, the top has been refinished. There were a couple spots where the veneer was sanded through right on the edge where the 2 halves come together. They have been filled and colored. There are also a couple scratches that were so deep they can still be seen but not felt. It was given a topcoat of polyurethane.
