Paul Evans Round Slate Top Occasional Table mid 1960s

About the Item

Paul Evans round natural cleft slate top side table circa mid 1960s. An octagonal tapered welded oxidized steel and braised brass base with a modeled surface. The wooden disc that supports the original cleft slate top has a gilded edge in 24 kt gold leaf is attached by a metal plate to the top of the base. The table comes with a certificate of authenticity from Dorsey Reading, Paul Evans Studio chief and closest associate. The table is in very good vintage condition.
