Stained Burl Wood + Copper Nightstands in the Style of Saporiti, Italy 1970s

About the Item

A pair of 1970s Italian nightstands in the style of Saporiti. These nightstands feature a red stained lacquered burl wood veneer with copper-tone metal + chrome detailing. They have subtly curved edges and two large drawers, offering significant storage space. These tables have oval pedestal bases with a copper-tone metal trim and mahogany back. Unmarked. Sourced in Italy, 1970s.

    Wear consistent with age and use. Good vintage condition. Minor scratches, marks and wear to the lacquered veneer. Patina and oxidation to the metal trim detailing, concentrated along the back of the bases. Slight separation between the veneer and metal trim can be seen in photograph.
