About the Item

A delightful antique English tilt top games table, circa 1850-1870. Constructed of fine rosewood, burled maple, and mahogany with a fine and a stately appearance. Features a rounded corner square top over a sturdy, turned column on a tripod of shapely legs over stout bun feet. Includes chess pieces. Dimensions: 19.75" wide by 20.5" deep by 27.75" high. Condition Please see detail photos. The set presents very well with wear commensurate with age including some surface scratching, scuffs, nicks and minor expected finish and veneer losses. There is a missing White piece and losses to some of the other pieces detailed in photos.
