About the Item

A fantastic quality Antique English Geo. III bookmatched flame mahogany demilune Flap-Top Games Table on square, tapered legs. The top opens to become practically a circle (36.25" x 35.75" open) and is lined with green baize (proper playing card surface). Please note the images of the original brass "scissors-style" hinges. There is an illustrated "shrinkage crack" which is typical for period, highly figured timber and completely age-appropriate. In lovely, original condition.
